Back in 2022 my good friend João / John was invited to join Team Bianchi Pratta as a mechanic for the Dakar Rallye in Qatar! Nothing short of a real adventure and of course a dream come true, for someone who spend the last 10 or 15 years dedicating his life to his true calling: fixing and maintaining stuff 😀
I booked an interview with this black-thumb super star and used the opportunity to dig in on every information I could get about the ins and outs of this famous race. What and how do they eat? How are the facilities inside the Bivouac? What tricks do teams use to survive this 15 day challenge?
